LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police are looking for the father of a toddler, who died Tuesday after being found unresponsive in a South Los Angeles motel. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, an 18-month-old boy was found unconscious and not breathing at the Rosa Bell Motel just after 11 a.m. Tuesday. ABC7 identified the child as Dee'ago Alexander Jones. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Medical staff called the Los Angeles Police Department's Juvenile Division, Abused Child Section, and now investigators are looking for Jone's father as a person of interest in his death. The case has been classified as an "undetermined death," according to the police, who declined to reveal other details of the investigation. The cause of death is pending, according to the LAPD.
