Tori is a sweet old (9-10 yo) spayed female mixed breed black dog — probably some lab, maybe a little pitbull in there. She is about the size of a cattle dog. She’s a really lovely natured girl, living well with several other dogs and a cat and friendly to strangers. She will also bark when people first comes over so she’s useful that way. She came in as a stray to the city of Carpinteria and was never reclaimed. Now she is in foster waiting for her retirement home. She is on the chunky side – she weighs close to 80 pounds when she should weigh 40. So she’s going to need a weight loss plan! She does enjoy neighborhood walks but she needs to build up stamina as she loses weight to be able to do longer ones. The rest of the time she’s happy to hang out around the house. She is housebroken and rides well in a car and is polite at meal times. Tori is available through the city of Carpinteria and the adoption fee is $75, which includes vaccinations and an exam.
