Any band or musicians in Upland, Claremont, Rancho, La Verne, or San Dimas? I am 55, much experience, can sing back-ups, xint equipment, dependable. I have day job that is very flexible for out of town gigs. I enjoy many types music, but not looking for punk, metal (I have single kick drum), reggae, or classic rock that does the same cover songs that every cover band does - although I have been in those bands. I prefer jazz, jazz fusion, swing, rockabilly, or something completely different for southern California, such as bluegrass, maybe even country. I am not looking to do 3 or 4 sets of covers every weekend until 1 or 2am. I would prefer to do a band that does mostly one or two sets (perhaps occasionally three), all originals would be great, or a combination of originals and covers. I can rehearse on weeknights occasionally but I prefer to do so on weekends - weekends when there is no gig that is. I live in Upland. I love collaborating and writing songs. I have a full percussion rig for acoustic sets. I contribute with booking and promoting.
