Press release from Santee Chamber of Commerce: July 01, 2021 Hello Santee! Last Thursday was a busy day of being back to in-person events. We celebrated the grand opening of Board & Brew right before heading over to Town Center Community Park to get back in the habit of the beloved Summer Concert Series! The Summer Concert was jam-packed, full of energy, and started with a celebration for some very special young ladies, the contestants of the Miss Santee program.    This longtime city tradition has evolved from a beauty pageant into a leadership program to empower and train future leaders. It's common for these titleholders to volunteer their time around town and often, with the Chamber of Commerce. It has been my personal pleasure to watch Miss Santee, Kamryn Correll, and Miss Teen Santee, Carrington Donahue (pictured), over the past two years as they've been stewards of our city and role models for the ladies in line behind them. Thank you to all the volunteer work, Kamryn and Carrington, and congratulations to the new title holders taking on the next reign! This press release was produced by Santee Chamber of Commerce.
