Description
Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking Housekeeper Needed for a great family in Woodland Hills! Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat - 40 hours minimum/week guaranteed with Sundays and one weekday off. Compensation: $30-$35/hr on payroll, DOE — the family is open to an increase for the right person over time A lovely, young family from London who now lives in Woodland Hills is seeking a housekeeper to help keep their home running in tip top shape! The family is guaranteeing a minimum 40 hours a week, with lots of potential for more depending on the weekend (if you are seeking more hours - this is the job for you!) The position is 85% housekeeping, and 25% child care, which would mostly be on Saturdays for date nights. Although there is some child care involved, please only apply if you are a housekeeper with true housekeeping experience. MUST be flexible and willing to work Saturdays, starting in the afternoon and going well into the night (midnight), as mom and dad enjoy their date nights — There WILL be times when you are NOT needed on a Saturday, but the family would like for you to have open availability to work every Saturday if needed, and will always give one weekday off and Sundays off. If you are not needed on a Saturday, you can work an extra day during the week if you like - they are very flexible. There are 4 people in the home — 2 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 6), plus one beautiful French Bulldog! The family is seeking someone who is willing to do daily general tidying (picking up after the kids, dishes, etc) and a thorough cleaning once per week (laundry, bed linens, bathrooms, kitchen, etc). If you work a shift while the kids are in school, there will be more time to clean, run errands, grocery shop, help with organizing, and do miscellaneous tasks as needed. You may be asked to help with drop offs and pick-ups, so a safe/reliable vehicle with a clean driving record is a must have! Specific duties include: Vacuuming Mopping Dusting Laundry Ironing Putting away clean clothes Changing and washing bed sheets once a week Loading and unloading dishwasher Organisation of cupboards, closets, drawers Collecting mail Putting away food shop Running errands if need be – could mean going to the post office for example In regards to children: Playing with them Reading to them Bathing them Bedtime routine Watching over them while they eat / occasionally preparing light meals or snacks Watching them in the garden – swimming pool *The family is open to being flexible during the week as long as you can remain flexible as well!
