Vallejo Man Killed In Walnut Creek Shooting, Arrest Made

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened around 11 p.m. Thursday in the area of Ygnacio Valley Road and N. California Boulevard. A 25-year-old Vallejo man died. His name has not been released. Police identified a vehicle involved in the shooting and tracked it to a home in Martinez, got a search warrant for the residence and used a SWAT team to serve the warrant. Walnut Creek police have not released any details about the suspect, who has been arrested. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Gerstner at (925) 256-3578.
