Model Meals is a Whole30/Paleo approved, ready-to-eat, meal prep service based out of Santa Ana, CA. We are looking to add new employees to our growing team! The packing/shipping entry level position is responsible for packing and shipping all meals for delivery. This position requires attention to detail and a focus on maintaining consistent quality customer service. This position is repetitive and requires each person to work quickly and without error as a productive member of the team. Requirements/Working Conditions • No experience necessary. Will train. (You will need to pass the Servsafe Food Handler assessment). • Must be at least 18 years old. • Punctual attendance is critical. Your timely, reliable and regular attendance is required. • Over time, weekend and holiday work, as required. • Must be able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines. • Must be comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment! Part of the packing position can involve working in a refrigerator for periods of time. • Must be able to work on their feet for long periods of time & lift up to 50 lbs. Job Duties • Assist with packing day preparations: box making, labeling, inventory, etc. • Accurately and efficiently measure and package fresh proportioned food ingredients. • Load/Unload prepackaged meals out of and into the refrigerator. • Accurately and efficiently pack meals into shipping boxes. • Assist in maintaining a clean, comfortable facility.
