The Lobsterfest at Newport Beach is Orange County's premier event for Whole Maine lobster and other seafood delights. What is Lobsterfest? The Lobsterfest at Newport Beach is a celebration of the end of summer designed for fun, entertainment and most importantly to raise funds for deserving charities. Held at the Newport Beach Civic Green, the Lobsterfest is now in its eleventh year and has evolved into a regional event attracting local Orange County residents as well as guests from the Inland Empire, Northern California and Southern Nevada.   Where is Lobsterfest? This annual Lobsterfest takes place at the Southwest end of the Civic Center known as the Civic Green, a two-acre grassy area designed for community gatherings and events. This large, green field invites family fun and sunny relaxation. The near by Civic park with its natural habitat, sculpture gardens and 1.23 miles of walking trails is perfect for a pleasant stroll and family fun. Whole Maine lobster is flown in fresh on the morning of the event and prepared on site along with steak, red potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, salads, freshly baked rolls, and dessert. While feasting, you will enjoy live entertainment.
