Rock of the 70's/80's/90's in the Asistencia courtyard. Gate opens at 4:15 for picnic suppers! If you had your radio tuned to FM rock stations like KLOS, KCAL, or KMET during the 70s, 80s, or 90s, then you will recognize every song played by Urban Overdrive on July 11 for Twilight Jams at the Asistencia. Formed in 2010, the members of Urban Overdrive have opened up for bands like Missing Persons and Jefferson Starship, played in music tributes to Genesis, Dio and, The Moody Blues, and performed for various fundraisers throughout the Inland Empire. Before COVID, members of Urban Overdrive were performing 3-gigs-a weekend throughout the Inland Empire. The gigs stopped, but that didn't stop Urban Overdrive from making music. They collaborated virtually – focusing on songs they grew up listening to on their beloved FM radio. The musical selection is varied – tunes by Badfinger, Pink Floyd, Los Lonely Boys, Steely Dan, Rush, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, The Stray Cats, INXS, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Deep Purple, and Yes all made their way into the band's repertoire. Every song is a personal favorite of the band members and reflects the band's love of the best-known rock hits that filled the airwaves. We'll open the gate at 4:15 for those who want to enjoy a picnic before the show. Bring your own refreshments - all we ask is that you carry out what you bring in. Admission for adults is $15; children under 12 are admitted free. If you want to reserve a table for your party, select one of the options in the tickets. Purchase of a table includes admission for up to 6 or 4 guests, depending on table size. You will receive an email confirmation with contact info to share guest names after your purchase. Bring a blanket or chairs for yourself for no cost. We'll help you set up at an appropriate socially distanced spot to enjoy the show. This is a no-pets event. Please leave Fido at home. No smoking or vaping.
