In honor of Juneteenth, The Barony, Board of Directors in conjunction with The Court of Many Colors, Cultures & Equality Reign 2 will host our 2nd Annual Black Excellence Awards Celebration on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
This event will take place at the Queer Arts Center, 3411 Lakeshore Avenue, Oakland, Ca. and will celebrate & honor the advancements and achievements of local Community Leaders who have made an impact in our Community.

Our Honorees this year are:

Humanitarian: Nina Ross (BBQ while Black)
Community Service: Regina Jackson (EOYDC)
Woman of the Year: Pamela Price
Comedian: Shea Stewart
Politics: Merl Craft
Education: Tamara Shiloh
Icon/Living Legend: Betty Reid Soskin

There will be Fun, Fellowship, Silent Auctions, Raffles and Entertainment featuring performances by Baroness 2 Princess Monet Sparkles, Crown Princess Royale Beautiful Wright, Crown Princess Royalty D’Moneyyy, Archduchess Christina “Ladybug” Gilmore plus Special Guest and a Surprise Return to the stage Performance by Viva Commotion.
