You were driving a black bmw 428, I was the guy driving the gray Scion tc, you asked me about my car burning oil. Yes, it burn oil pretty fast. It was a design flaw with Toyota's 2AZ-FE engine line, the piston rings were not sized correctly. I'd recommend checking and adding oil frequently, like every week or so. It's annoying, but the only alternative is a full engine teardown, replace the rings, and put it back together. IMO not worth the effort. Otherwise I love the car, not a powerhouse but still a blast to drive! I hope your son enjoys his new car!
