We're an established funk & soul band looking for an additional female singer to share in vocals... backing and lead. We're looking for a dynamic personality, with great energy and dance skills, a strong harmonizer. We perform Soul, Funk, Rhythm & Blues, Dance and Jazz... covers and original material for all types of gigs. We're looking for a mix of Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Irma Thomas, Mavis Staples, Sharon Jones... to newer acts like Orgone and more. We're looking for the right singer to compliment our band and help take us to another level. Ideally a singer that's looking to write new music as well or has songs to bring to the band.
Gigs are coming back and we a busy summer/fall season. We play all types of gigs... corporates, weddings, clubs, festivals, bars and more and have performed at some of the best rooms in the Bay Area and beyond... The Masonic Auditorium, Great American Music Hall, Slim's, and a lot more. We do have some gigs booked later this year... happy to discuss details.
