EXP. SINGER/FRONTMAN SEEKS SERIOUS MUSICIANS FOR ALT/DANCE ROCK BAND

I am an established, experienced singer/frontman who is looking to assemble an original alt rock/dance rock band. Around the vain of AJR, BASTILLE, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, UNLIKELY CANDIDATES, GLASS ANIMALS, KINGS OF LEON, ALL TIME LOW, etc. The goal is to first & foremost, write great, catchy songs that could get radio play & TV/movie placements, build a strong & impressive stage show, and to try and get onto tours/music festivals. I have connections that help us get us started in the right direction. This isn't a play-on-a-three-band-bill-at-Press-Club-on-a-Tuesday type situation. Big shows with big bands at great venues that make sense and are beneficial to building something special. I have done the young musician hustle around town for years, and now I am ready to build something special with like minded musicians who understand the business. Being in a band is expensive & time consuming, so every decision needs to make sense. I want our live show to stand out and be something people remember. I can promise to do my part as the frontman. I need musicians wanting to put on an energetic & memorable show. That being said, it all starts with the songs. That is top priority. In my almost 15 years in the Sacramento scene, I have started original bands from the ground up and built them to the point where I have been able to open for bands like Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Tesla, Powerman 5000, Saliva, Finch, Unwritten Law, and many more. I have headlined Ace of Spades, performed at Golden 1 Center four times, played Sleep Train Amphitheater, and recorded several albums & EPs in professional recording studios. I am not saying all of this to stroke my own ego. It is to show that I understand the scene & business and that I am aware of the work that it takes to create something interesting & different. I have what it takes to front an amazing project and to do it well. Singing is my current full-time job, but it's cover band stuff at casinos & whatnot. I am ready to create & build something special with a band of musicians that are ready to go all-in on the dream. I am looking for 3 or 4 men or women that have been in/around the scene & understands what it takes to run a serious band. I would like to keep the ages between 25-40. Look the part, dress the part. One or two guitarists, bass, and a very skilled drummer. I have synths & backtracks, if we go that direction. Depending on what we write, we would most likely run backtracks and I would set up a professional looking light/stage show. I want people to dance & have fun, so alt rock is the avenue that fits my style the best. Think more 94.7 radio play/City of Trees and less 98 Rock/Aftershock. I have room at Sacramento Rehearsal Studio & a full PA, so there is a place to meet & jam. Details like practice times, financial stuff, etc can be worked out in time. Right now, it's finding the right people. If you are interested in going for the dream that we all desire, but could never find the right group to match your skill & work ethic, hit me up. We'll be laughing about this post one day backstage at Wembley Stadium, while roasting marshmallows over a fire with our Grammy Awards. Who knows what will come of this? Just taking a leap of faith that this could lead to something. Why not, right?
