Larsen's Steakhouse is looking for a diligent dishwasher with the ability to maintain our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. DISHWASHER NEEDED: Looking for someone to wash an clean tableware, pots, pans, cutting boards, and cooking equipment. The position also requires keeping the dish area, employee bathroom, and equipment clean and organized and the assist in the prep area as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Load, run and unload dish machine - Monitor sanitizing levels and report any unsafe levels - Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately - Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle - Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware - Keep dish room clean and organized - Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen - Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times - Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss - Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies - Clean food preparation and production areas as required - Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor - Clean and maintain employee bathroom - General cleaning duties - Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement - Other restaurant tasks, as required by manager or leadership - No previous restaurant experience required - Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time - Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time - Be able to safely lift trash bags, plates, buckets, flatware, and stack weighing up to 60 pounds continuously throughout - Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, twist, and climb - Continuous use of hands, arms, legs, and feet - Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits - Be able to communicate clearly and effectively - Must have or obtain a California Food handlers Card within 30 days of date of hire
