Job Description: Janitorial Services is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service at Hawaiian Falls. The primary purpose is to ensure that the public facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, that general refuse is collected and disposed of properly, and that bathrooms, walkways and common areas are kept free of debris and various slip/trip hazards. You will sometimes be asked to undertake details or to perform tasks that are not specifically mentioned in this job description or completely outside your area of responsibility. Your willing, cheerful and enthusiastic cooperation is expected and greatly appreciated. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure cleanliness of the bathrooms in the park Empty trash, clean restrooms, sweep guest areas, and generally maintain a tidy park Walkthrough the park with a broom and dustpan to ensure everything is clean Use chemicals to make restrooms and facility sparkly Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness Must read chemical labels and MSDS of cleaning substances Strong attention to detail Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age May be required to stand for long periods of time May be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs. May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain.
