Record Release party for amberdreams! Record release party for amberdreams The album is a collaboration between Amber and Ricky Rasura- harp, voice, beat machine. I wrote these songs largely as a way to move on from things I've carried along with me-good and bad. Some things that happen in life are difficult to talk about but seem to come out easily in song form. Some of the songs were honestly just written in the time when my husband and I had no kids and plenty of time to just hang out and watch like, Ancient Aliens and stuff. Others were written after I had a baby and struggled with sleeplessness and had hours awake in the darkness, mulling over past events and the changes within. Still others tackle the darker experiences I've had in life. Some of you have heard us around the Bay Area as Erased Text. We changed the name to better fit who we are these days- two people with with lots of dreams. The release party will be 4-7 PM at Mosaic. Mosaic is indoor/outdoor. Please come celebrate with us.
