The power companies said “no!” Coal power is a vey cost prohibitive form of energy. Power companies CHOSE to move away from coal power for a reason. New technologies like natural gas, wind, solar, biofuel are just a few of the alternatives that made coal obsolete. Trump should have educated himself on the subject before promising to bring back coal. Rebuilding the coal industry is like trading in our cars for horse drawn carriages. Trump missed the boat on solving our energy crisis.
