San Antonio, TEXAS – Hot off the success of their new Netflix hit Warrior Nun, based on the acclaimed series of the same name, Antarctic Press is set to release O.B.E., or Out of Body Experience. Based on the award-winning screenplay, O.B.E. is drawn by Christopher Allen (Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiderman) and colored by Lee Duhig (Wolverine, Deadpool), and will launch from Antarctic Press April 28th, 2021. Written by C.M. Bratton and Kerry Valderrama (Sanitarium starring Malcolm McDowell, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Robert England, and the Sanitarium comic series), O.B.E. is a dystopian thriller set in the near-future where the entire population can astral project. This ability has caused worldwide decimation unlike any seen before. As civilization struggles to combat the addiction to OBEing, or astral projection, a haunted detective must work with a lonely social worker to catch an elusive killer who has learned how to hunt from the astral plane. This fantastical, philosophical, action-packed detective story explores how humanity faces extinction and yet refuses to bow down, while also evolving to thrive in a new society based between this world and the next. O.B.E. #1 will be available at comic book shops April 28th, 2021. It will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play. This limited issue comic will be released over four months, with a compilation graphic novel to be released later this year.
