Girls Wheeling Recovery 101/201 weekend! JPPL Girls Wheeling & Recovery 101 & 201 Weekend!! Saturday June 26th is Wheeling & Recovery 101 Sunday June 27th is Wheeling & Recovery 201 ** ((in order to do our 201 you must have taken the 101 class prior or take it this weekend))** Also please note men are allowed to be here, we just want to put the focus on the girls who may be new to wheeling and want a safe environment to ask questions and learn with no judgement!! The all new Wheeling portion of our class will cover things like choosing a path, understanding things as simple as how to use 4 wheel drive and WHEN to use 4Lo vs. 4Hi. In short the very basics of what to expect when you are out on the trails or in an off-road park. The 101 it will be basics going over the different recovery gear, how to hook up to another Jeep. Safety of all situations, trail etiquette and more!! Whereas the 201 on Sunday will be more advanced like spotting yourself and others on trails and obstacles. Use of a Winch, HiLift, and more gear!! Trust me this is one class you will not want to miss!! In the Recovery portion of our class you do not need to have any gear or prior knowledge, just a open mind and willingness to get dirty and Learn!! We are a hands on group and you will be the one doing the hooking up and recovery during classes!! Sat is the 101 that MUST be completed to be able to do our 201 on Sunday. The cost of the class is $45 for each day, meaning it is $90 per Jeep for the weekend. This fee covers the entry to the park, and our costs to run the class. We are a non-profit and all of our instructors are volunteers we try to keep the cost down for this reason. Camping is offered at an additional cost at the park. $20 for primitive (aka no electric or water), or $35 for Hook ups. The camping is thru the park itself, and needs to be paid to them. You can also camp Friday night prior to class, our instructors usually do as well so you will get to meet us then!! ** For power camping reservations please email [email protected] ASAP once you have purchased your spot (limited power sites avail) If you are primitive camping you do not need to reserve a spot.... Thanks!! The class size is limited so that we can provide better instruction to everyone. 25 Jeeps/ rigs and we will be sold out. You may have as many people in the vehicle as you have seatbelts!!! So feel free to buddy up for this class!! And yes we are family friendly, however we request that pets be left at home, sorry for the inconvenience. ** Once payment is complete you will receive an email with full instructions and location of event!!
