Hi, I'm a singer/songwriter/guitar player looking to sing for a band. I'm a high baritone but can still belt out a tenor range when need be. Toured for most of my 20's singing in a rock/punk band. Made records, ate the label dinners, & got jaded by 30. I miss it a lot now and have been writing a lot in the past decade but have been just a bit shy to meet other musicians and get back in the saddle in the Bay Area. I'm originally from the East Coast. Preferably looking to just sing but into singing & playing rhythm guitar too. I can totally help you in the harmony section if you need it. Musical songwriting/vocal influences are Nick Lowe, Dave Gahan, Jason Falkner, Glen Campbell, The Posies, Sisters Of Mercy, Gillian Welch, Shudder To Think, CSNY, Pixies, Aimee Mann, Squeeze, Peter Murphy/Bauhaus, Hot Snakes, The Nerves, Floyd, Guided By Voices, Jellyfish, The Dickies, Grant Lee Buffalo, Bee Gees, Michael Rother, Swans, The Cult, etc.  Craigslist is a total shot in the dark but I figured I'd take it. Totally down to sing your songs or help you with vocal melodies/songwriting too. Prefer playing with a band/musicians who have stage/traveling/touring experience. I live in Marin but will rehearse anywhere in the Bay Area if it's a cool thing. Can send samples upon request. Cheers.
