Hola! Maturish Guitarist / singer-songwriter / bass seeks same for collaboration and band formation, gigs etc. (age/gender not an issue) I have a space in Oakland and a few drummers interested. I have been playing in bands in Oakland and SF for over 17 years, I have good connections for gigs (when they start happening more) and lots of performance and recording experience. Vocal and songwriting chops a big plus. Improvisational skills mandatory. I have music to share from several current and former projects, please have some recordings to share with me. Lots of influences and largely genre unbound but here are some things I have been influenced by and/or have been enjoying recently: Richard Thompson, Reigning Sound, Big Star, tortoise, GBV, Flamin' Groovies, Sheer Mag, Sonic Youth, Talking Heads, Joni Mitchell, Wye Oak, Lucinda Williams, Wille Nelson, Mercury Project etc. Please don't contact me unless you have music recorded to share.
