Come join us for craft beer, casino games, silent raffle and auction to benefit Serina's upcoming Stem Cell Treatment in Mexico! Since 20`15, Serina has battled a little known but deadly disease called CIDP, or Chronic Inflammatory Demylinating Polyneuropathy. Serina spent over a year in the hospital in 2016 completely paralyzed from the neck down and has spent every year since getting better at learning how to care for herself independently again. At this time there is no known cure for this disease and Serina is facing a relapse at anytime. She was recently accepted for stem cell treatment at the #1 facility in the world for her disease and will be going to Puebla Mexico October 25th to undergo a stem cell transplant. The facility requires $65,000 (including travel costs and ongoing medications) in order to do the treatment. It has a 90% success rate in getting patients with CIDP and similar diseases into a state of remission. During a recent follow up with her neurologist state-side, Serina was told that she is actively in a flare that could inevitably lead her back to paralysis and effectively ruin all the progress she has made thus far. So time is truly of the essence. We are inviting you to a black tie casino night at one of Houston's best local breweries to win prizes, drink amazing beer, and raise awareness for Serina and her current plight. There will be a silent auction and food will be served. The cost of the tickets include playing chips and one beer per person.
