Description
PLEASANTON, CA — A building containing electrical and irrigation equipment was destroyed early Sunday morning at Castlewood Country Club.
No injuries were reported.
The 20-foot by 30-foot building on the north end of the lower golf course was engulfed in flames when the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department said it arrived around 3:45 a.m. The fire had reached through the roof and severely damaged the building, so firefighters fought the flames from outside.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but LPFD said the building contained large pumps for the golf course irrigation system and electrical control panels.
