PASADENA, CA — A 58-year-old man who was reported missing in Pasadena was found in the Angeles National Forest after he became lost for five days while hiking in the area, authorities announced today. George David Null was reported missing after having last been seen at about 7 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East Del Mar Boulevard, said Deputy Maria Lucero of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Null's vehicle was found in the Angeles National Forest on Sunday, and he may have been hiking in the Mount Waterman area, Lucero said. The department's Special Enforcement Bureau announced at about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday that Null became lost while hiking and had been found in a remote area of the Angeles National Forest. Null was airlifted out of the area and was "happy to be safe," according to the SEB. No further details were released.
