Sports for Learning Coach / Teaching Assistant: • $20/hr • Vallejo, CA 94592 Who we are: We help you, help them. We work with local Elementary & Middle School districts to use fun, physically active games and sports as a vehicle to engage students in social & emotional learning. We support in classrooms with virtual lessons, on the field with getting active and through our distance learning platform. About the role: In this position you will help run a Sports for Learning Safe Play active program, 4 days a week at a local school. This is an in-person position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Running Sports for Learning social distancing games and physically active programing • Interact and cohesively work with school staff • Follow COVID 19 protocols and cleaning procedures • Engage students and get them active safely Who should apply: • No experience needed other than a love for working with kids. • Do you love working with kids? • Are you organized, energetic, and get excited by the prospect of running interactive games outside? • Do you believe in the impact that Social and Emotional Learning programs and physical activity can have on a student’s overall well-being? • Do you want to create a student’s favorite hour of the school day?
