Bass player here - looking for Rock, Punk, or Pop band

Easy-going, adept, and adventurous bass player available for the right indie/rock/pop project. Originals only... Life's too short to play other people's music. Mature, reliable dude ready to apply my creativity, time, and work ethic to make something awesome. Reliable band citizen and loyal servant of the song, first and foremost. But what is best in life? To paraphrase Conan: to take a gut-stomping, vertebra-crunching riff and beat it mercilessly into the ground. Can't read music but charts/tabs are easy. I also have an uncanny ability to learn songs in minutes and I eat pop tunes for breakfast. I can also sing back-ups when not burping or swearing into the mic. Age is not important - to me, anyway. :-) Old enough to remember Reagan getting shot but I still get carded more often than not. I love playing bass and I know how much hard work it takes to make music happen; will gladly pitch in with band chores like booking, rent, photoshopping stuff, and smacking the drummer upside the head.
