PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police plan to shut down a portion of Stoneridge Drive Tuesday, for the second day in a row. Officers anticipate closing the road from Newton Way to Trevor Parkway in both directions from 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as they conduct a follow-up traffic investigation. Mark Fiala, a 66-year-old resident in the area was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash at Stoneridge and Newton early Monday morning, officials said.
