And if you're passionate about bicycles, you’ll fit right in! Unpacker General description Unpack new bicycles and prepare them for assembly. Remove boxes and packing material from work area. Clean assembly work area and perform general light janitorial in DC building. Unpacker Requirements • Basic proficiency with hand tools. • Attention to detail. • Good communication skills. Demonstrate that you are able to follow instructions given in English, verbally. • Excellent reliability. Verifiable experience showing up for work, day after day, on time. • Ability to concentrate on work all day. This job requires eight solid hours of attention to productivity and quality. • Good physical condition. You must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds head high. • Enthusiasm for bicycles and riding is preferable. Fulfillment Coordinator: The Fulfillment Coordinator plays a critical role in processing and fulfilling online orders for Mike’s Bikes. The individual will track orders from start to finish, initiate and receive transfers, package and box orders, and ensure they are receipted and shipped in a timely manner. They will also provide phone and online support as needed and assist the eCommerce Manager on daily tasks and project initiatives. This job is in our Distribution Center (DC) in Novato, CA. General description:  Assist with order processing, tracking inventory, and package products for shipping  Process returns for online orders Job Requirements • Accuracy and attention to detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy when verifying part numbers, scanning bikes for transfer and prepping for inventory counts. • Verbal communication skills • Written communication skills: Ability to communicate clear and concise messages to staff and stores. Ability to write professional, understandable email messages to peers, managers and customers. • Computer skills: copy, paste, print, make a new folder, name, rename and organize files and folders. Basic spreadsheet use; enter data, sort, format, and print. • Organization skills: Sort, categorize, label and store items according to standards. • Ability to walk 6 out of the 8 hour shift. • Ability to lift overhead and carry bicycles up to 25 lbs. • Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs. • Ability to use basic hand tools.
