Rehoming beautiful female cockatiel

Description

Need to find a forever home for this cute female cockatiel. My cockatiels had babies last year and I need to reduce the size of my flock. Looking to rehome this one with someone who will love and take good care of them. Preferably someone who actually knows about cockatiels and how to care for them. Also that already has cockatiels so this little one does not feel lonely. INFO ABOUT COCKATIEL: She was hatched on December 29, 2020. So she is only 4 months old. Her mom is a Pearl Lutino cockatiel and her dad is a Pied cockatiel. She is not tamed. She can be tamed if you spend enough time with her since I handled her when she was a baby, but she is very jumpy! Only sometimes she will allow you to touch her head slightly, but only inside the cage. She needs to trust you. So you need to put some time aside for her to make that happen. Also offering treats helps. I raised her eating seeds, pellets, sometimes hard boiled egg and vegetables like broccoli, spinach and lettuce. Also with a calcium stone for cockatiels and frequent clean water. (A all seed diet is terrible for birds. If you want them to stay healthy they need pellets & veggies too! Not just all seeds.) I know I've written a lot here, but I truly care about her ending up in good hands. The least I want is to rehome this little one to someone who has no idea how to take care of them properly or that ends up giving them to a child as a toy. They are not a toy, they are a living creature that needs to be loved and taken care of. If you are interested in giving this little one a proper forever home please contact me by email. Rehoming fee: $250. No negotiation.
