Essential Job Functions: • Must work quickly, productively and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman • Operate chain saw and other small equipment to cut wood and remove brush • Stack and load wood on delivery vehicles • Weed whip heavy and light brush using various hand and electric tools • Operate forklift • Perform general clean up around the job site • Care for trees and recognize tree disease • Pick fruit according to size and grade • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Experience in Orchard/Farm work • Familiar with irrigation systems • Effectively operate a chain saw • Effectively operate a weed whip • Effectively use small hand tools such as rakes and shovels • Effectively operate a forklift • Must have reliable transportation and show up to work on time every day • Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies • Must work as a team member Physical Requirements: • Must be in good physical condition • For prolonged periods of time, must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and jobsite in order to complete work • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders Working Environment: • Outdoors—can be in areas of very heavy brush. Can be periods of non-work time/days when raining. Work Hours: - Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (typical)—work schedule may vary depending on season - Eight (8) hours a day, plus overtime, if necessary - Saturday and Sundays if necessary
