Join us Saturday at 3pm on our outdoor patio for a two livetronica sets with Nate Levin. Live looping beats, electronic percussion, guitar, bass, and synthesizers, Nate will improvise an organic mid-tempo steady beat soundtrack to your afternoon. All donations will go to supporting The Center’s continued commitment to conscious community building in SF Nate is an Oberlin Conservatory trained double bassist, livetronica looper, sound healer, and multi-instrumentalist who has performed professionally on all seven continents at clubs, festivals, cruise ships, concert halls, and yoga studios.     Nate creates musical experiences custom tailored to the sonic environment he finds himself in.  His improvisations can be described as a mix of Midtempo Organic Livetronica, Burning Man Psychedelic Jam Band, Ecstatic Dance, Shamanic Sound Healing, and Ethno-World Tribal Fusion.  As a soloist or as a group,  their sound journeys are perfect for tea house background music, yoga classes, or any other environment requiring music that reflects the energy of it's audience.  In addition to the bass, Nate performs on a variety  of classical, world, and electronic musical instruments sometimes including the hand drum, handsonic, djembe, didgeridoo, hardwood drum, kalimba, sound bowl, guitar, native american flute, and ableton push.  As a professional bassist, he has shared stages with diverse acts from visionary artist Android Jones (The Grateful Dead) to The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.  Some of his most notable collaborations have been with Clem Curtis (The Foundations "Build Me Up Buttercup"), Zane Carney (John Mayer, Avril Lavigne), Journey South (UK X-Factor), and Lorna Luft (daughter of Judy Garland).
