IMPORTANT: READ BELOW BEFORE CLICKING ON REGISTER We now have tents (with sides open for ventilation), so we can have our outdoor Mass even when it rains. But there is limited permanent seating, so please bring your own seating even when it rains, in which case we'll be on the blacktop, not the lawn.) Be sure to check your email before you leave the house for Mass in case extreme cold or wind causes cancellation. Also, be sure to carefully read your entire confirmation email, which has more important information. EACH PERSON 18 YEARS AND OLDER MUST RSVP SEPARATELY. Your registration indicates that you have carefully read and agreed to the following informed consent statement:The Catholic Community at Stanford intends as best it can to follow all mandated safety protocols and county regulations for public worship services. However, the county medical officer has advised us that public gatherings may nevertheless present an increased possibility of contagion even if safety precautions are taken, and therefore he has asked us to inform you that your participation may increase the risk for yourself and your family. In particular, if you are over the age of 50 or have a chronic or underlying medical condition, a gathering increases your risk of contracting the virus or if you do contract the virus it may have a greater chance of creating serious illness that could even result in death. If you fall into this high-risk category and/or if you feel sick, are displaying COVID-19 symptoms (especially fever, cough or difficulty breathing) or if any of these symptoms are being experienced by someone in your household, you should stay home. The Catholic Community at Stanford cannot guarantee that there is no risk of infection for attendees. Registering to attend this Mass indicates that you understand these risks and agree to abide by all safety protocols and to follow all other instructions that may be given, and that you acknowledge the risks involved. This information will be kept confidential to the extent the law allows, and is protected from law enforcement and immigration authorities. What you'll need to bring: For health purposes, each person in your party needs to bring your own chair (or possibly a bleach blanket), a mask (for those 4 years old and over), and your own hand sanitizer. You may also want to bring a sweater and sun protection. A couple other things to note: congregational singing and communion on the tongue are not allowed.
