Gridiron Football is the fastest growing youth non-contact football organization in the country! Our youth programs feature competitive and recreational Flag Football, 7v7 Football and Flex football the revolutionary new non-contact football format that helps young Flag players make the transition into tackle football. We're hosting a series of 5v5 and 7v7 tournaments in Liberty Hill, Leander/Cedar Park, Round Rock and surrounding areas throughout the months of May and June and are building a small team of highly motivated individuals with a passion for youth football to support these events. What the job entails: - Assist with local direct marketing by distributing fliers to vehicles and target audiences at youth sporting events - Deploy and recover marketing signs at designated locations as instructed by the local Gridiron Football Operations Manager - Assist with the transport, setup and takedown of Gridiron branded equipment and merchandise on tournament Game Days and other special events as needed - Assist parents and coaches in locating game fields and times - Record game results as reported by officials - Respond to or record parent questions, comments or concerns - Ensure the timely transition of players and coaches to and from game fields throughout the tournament game day - Manage the concessions tent as directed by the Gridiron Football Operations Manager - Provide feedback and insights to the Gridiron Football Operations Manager in order to improve the game day experience for players, coaches, parents and fellow staff What the job requires: - Reliable transportation with the ability to work weekends (typically Saturday OR Sunday) - Capability and willingness to transport small equipment (e.g. 10x10 popup tent, speaker(s), folding table, etc...) is strongly preferred but not required - An outgoing personality with strong communication and customer service - Experience in competitive sports, especially football is strongly preferred - Candidates must be willing to submit to and satisfactorily pass a criminal background check This is an hourly, 1099 Independent Contractor position.
