Ya-A-Te leadership Retreat is held off campus for freshmen and sophomore students to gain leadership skills and get engaged on campus.
Ya-A-Te means “Welcome” in Apache and is a three-day leadership retreat held off campus for freshmen and sophomore students. It teaches leadership skills and team work, all while demonstrating the resources students will need for a successful future at TJC.
Attendees will get the opportunity to experience the outdoors with canoeing, zip lining and enjoy the gorgeous East Texas Pines. You'll also partake in interactive activities, nightly events and compete in tribal games for the bragging rights for the ultimate tribe.
The fee is only $50 to attend and is open to both TJC freshmen and sophomore students. Register before June 1 and purchase an early bird ticket for only $40. Space is limited so please complete your registration TODAY and don't miss out this great opportunity to be the next student leader on campus and meet fellow Apaches!
On-Campus Housing Residents will get to move into their assigned rooms upon prior to departure for the retreat. Attendees will need to coordinate with Residential Life and Housing for details on times and locations.
