PALM SPRINGS, CA — A person described as a "fugitive" was shot and killed Friday morning by bail agents in Palm Springs. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department, which is assisting the Palm Springs Police Department, said the incident was in the 100 block of E. Via Escuela in Palm Springs. Police and deputies were investigating the shooting at the time of this publication. There was no word on the identity of the deceased or what the person was wanted for. Check back for updates.
