LEAD TODDLER TEACHER/HOME DAYCARE NOW interviewing for a LEAD TODDLER TEACHER at a licensed home daycare that runs like a preschool. Hours are morning (8:30-12:30)+ afternoons (1:30-4:30) Monday-Friday = 35 hours per week. Do you love kids and wish to work in a childcare environment? Do you wish to learn more and would love you run your own small classroom to gain experience? Or, do you already have the experience and are looking for a change? We are a family home daycare in Santee, operating weekdays. We are looking for someone familiar with working with TODDLERS ( ages 15 m-2.5 yrs). You will have your own classroom with 4-6 little ones and you should be confident and have teaching experience. But that's not all...you would work afternoons and be the program lead...this will help your resume and give you leadership experience! Must be ready to engage in our program! Occasional after-hour events, parties with parents, Friday Fun Day dress-up themes, Music and Movement classes, Field Trips, Art activities, run and play with children...We are not your typical daycare! We are looking for energetic and outgoing personalities who want to learn and have a lot of fun. The summer program is starting soon. Looking for someone to start right away!!! Requirements: -AMAZING PERSONALITY! ( happy, outgoing, personable, and professional). -Experience working with young children- preferably managed a group on your own! -Will need to obtain fingerprints, a TB test, and certain vaccinations. -Must have reliable transportation -Must be fun, energetic, outgoing, and ready to get on the children's levels to play and teach! -Firm but nurturing- MUST be a leader and ready to manage a small class (Teacher position) -Housekeeping duties will be required daily. Must be a quick learner, tidy and organized. (Assistant Position) -Must be livescan fingerprinted, possess a clear TB record, CPR & first aid, and required vaccinations, before hiring.
