We have a cat that is an owner surrender that has always been indoor with patio access. The owner took him as young cat and she (the owner recently fell and broke her hip and will not be returning to home). The cat is very scared in the shelter environment and needs to be rescued. As an owner surrender we know he'll be likely to imprint and bond, he just needs a safe space, this is so bewildering to him. And he should be a nice addition if you need a mouser, as he's got the instinct to protect space! If you are looking for such a cat for a old home, warehouse, garage or other space, he could be your perfect match.
