We are looking for a very honest, calm, nice, smart, easy going, organized, quick, person who loves children. Has to be compassionate, discreet, like to travel, and ready for adventure mother’s helper to help a hands-on mom of two girls: 5 years old and 8 months old. Job Description: -Prep purée for baby following the health standard of the family. -Organize the rooms (file the small clothes, replacing the clothes, rotation of the toys and books, rotate the toys out that are classified as too young) -Clean and organize the playroom (also called the media room.) -Clean and organize the art station: writing the dates, titles, name on every art and file them; organize the art. -Make a system to keep all the drawings / projects made at home and at school. -Make photo albums of the kids and family -Make projects with the older child -Laundry for children: wash, fold, iron and put away the clothes -Babysit occasionally: engage with child and baby; no screen, no phones and keep them safe. -Sometimes give a bath, put to sleep, serve lunch or dinner and assist for them to eat. (RARELY) -Sometimes give a bottle, burp baby and put to bed. (RARELY) -Travel with the family -Pack suitcases for the kids (very organized) -Make list of what to bring for the kids. -Unpack suitcases for the kids: empty the suitcase, wash all the toys, books before putting it back. Wash the clothes, wash the suitcase (interior and exterior). -Sometimes will sleep in the same room as kids (EXTREMELY RARE) if mother is too exhausted or has an important meeting the next day during traveling, sharing the hotel room linked with the parent room…knowing there is a camera / monitor with the kids. -Make sure the stroller, diaper bag, car are always ready to go: filled with diapers, wet wipes, dry wipes, cream, bottles, change of clothes. After each utilization, the bag or stroller needs to be emptied, washed and re-stocked. -Prepare snacks for the children -Deep clean of the toys once a week -Keep track of what the baby needs and communicate with house manger to order what’s necessary -Wash sippy cups, pacifiers, high chair. -See that the baby has what she needs in all rooms, such as refill wipes, pacifiers, etc. -Support other household staff and perform light housekeeping duties as needed when not tending to the children’s needs -Work long hours, weekends, and holidays….based on the needs of the family -Travel with the family both domestically and internationally and available to travel to Canada for three months in the summer and several weeks at Christmas. $25+ hour DOE paid holidays, benefits To apply please send resume, references and best time for an interview.
