Enjoy a night of straight ahead jazz, swing , bebop and blues under the stars. Gate opens at 4:15 for picnic suppers! North Bench Band is led by keyboard and pianist Glenn Suveg, with Ricky Brown on drums and Phil Norris on trumpet. North Bench Band performs a variety of straight ahead jazz, swing , bebop and blues. Song arrangements include Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck, Herbie Hancock, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Steely Dan and much more. The group produces a hybrid sound with complex rhythms, syncopations and key changes that will leave you anticipating the next beat. We'll open the gate at 4:15 for those who want to enjoy a picnic before the 5:00 pm show. Bring your own refreshments - all we ask is that you carry out what you bring in. Or if you want to make it easy, order a picnic supper from As You Like It Catering & Events. They will deliver a delicious packaged meal which will include: Pre-Order meal: • Entree Greek Salad topped with herbed chicken breast & freshly baked cookie OR Entree Greek Salad topped with roasted vegetables & freshly baked cookie OR • Flatbread (presto chicken or roasted veggies with goat cheese) with a small Greek Salad & a freshly baked cookie • $13 In addition, they do amazing mini charcuterie boxes and will offer those (pre-order only). Baby Charc! Our smallest Charc Bite serves 1 person, and includes two cured meats, three imported cheese varieties, dried and fresh fruits, herb accents, and a Caprese skewer...$12 Bite Me! You don't have to share but you can! This Charc Bite serves 2 people, and includes two cured meats, three imported cheese varieties, dried and fresh fruits, house-made balsamic fig compote, floral and herb accents, toasted Romano cheese baguette slices...$32 Fam Bam! Our family-sized Charc Bite serves 4 - 6 people, and includes two cured meats, four imported cheese varieties, dried and fresh fruits, house-made balsamic fig compote, floral and herb accents, toasted Romano cheese baguette slices, crackers, and house-made truffles...$77 Order when you place your ticket order and your meal will be waiting for you in the courtyard. Admission for adults is $15; children under 12 are admitted free. If you want to reserve a table for your party, select one of the options in the tickets. Purchase of a table includes admission for up to 6 or 4 guests, depending on table size. You will receive an email confirmation with contact info to share guest names after your purchase. Bring a blanket or chairs for yourself for no cost. We'll help you set up at an appropriate socially distanced spot to enjoy the show. Masks are required for entry - you can remove them once you are set up at your blanket or table.
