Description
The easiest way to avoid getting taken advantage of is simple.....if you can’t see or hold the puppy, don’t hand over any cash. NEVER give upfront money.
That will keep you safe 99% of the time.
NO PUPPY NO MONEY
Scams:
CASHAPP scam: Asking for a deposit with an app. Then they discontinue all communication with you. They’ll tell you things like ‘this is the last pup and everybody’s texting me for him’ they’ll try to make you desperate. They’ll also say “put the small deposit on the puppy to confirm you want to buy” Don’t fall for it.
SHIPPING scam:
They’ll say they’re not in town but they have all the paperwork to confirm that the puppy will be shipped to you. It’s a SCAM. If it’s not local don’t fall for it.
PHISHING scam:
They’ll have an email on the post asking for your number or to contact them to that email. They’ll typically have only one photo of the cutest puppy you’ve ever seen. The photo is more than likely from Instagram or google and I believe it’s a phishing scam or trying to collect your information to sell it to scammers.
