Join us for an EPIC community beach cleanup and a documovie premier on the beach to celebrate Earth Day! We wanted to do something special this Earth Day to inspire our community about simple solutions we can ALL put into practice around climate change. The evening will start with a Bay/Beach Cleanup at sunset. Bring a pair of gloves, reuse an old bag, and don't forget to pack your good attitude! Designated routes have been made for you to follow to maximize trash collection. This isn't just any beach cleanup! We will be having some local artists creating live art from the trash you've collected. Do your friends refer to you as "the artistic one"? Please DM @soul.much or let us know when you arrive if you would like to oversee one of these art projects. After the cleanup, we will have our documovie series play. DOCUMOVIE SCREEING: This isn't your average depressing environmental documentary leaving you feeling frustrated with humainty (speaking from experience). Nah, THIS is a movie night that will leave you feeling inspired to take action. We will be playing several short films of people around the world who have come up with innovative solutions to plastic pollution, clean energy, food waste, water shortages, etc. This event was made to leave you feeling empowered rather than defeated.
