Female lead vocals wanted for working San Diego covers band. Please read the entire ad before responding. About us: We play all over the rock genre map. We play the usual favorites, but mix in a ton of lesser played, but popular tunes. (Think “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” by The Darkness) We also have fun with tunes by Tenacious D and Tom Jones. We play all over San Diego and into Orange County. We play special events such as the San Diego County Fair and The San Diego Rock And Roll Marathon. What we want: A vocalist that can handle a wide variety of songs and wants to be an equal partner in our band. This is the most important thing, we don’t care if you don’t have a ton of experience, and we do not require a pile of YouTube videos, if you can sing, and you want to audition, let us know. We are looking for a dedicated band member who wants to promote and play with the band. What we are looking to avoid: We don’t want a hired gun who has a bunch of different projects. We want OUR lead singer. We don’t want a person who cannot commit to rehearsals and shows. I guarantee you, we will work and will play all over town. We are a fun group of people and take our playing seriously, as well as take our fun seriously.
