Description

I have the TC Helicon VoiceLive 3, and am just getting into it. I'm hoping to hire someone to help me jump-start this project. There are a couple less-than-typical things I'm hoping to accomplish with the VL3. 1) I play both bass and keyboards, so I use an aux send from my mixer as the "INPUT" to the VL3, hopefully both to loop my instrument-in-use and to use the "intelligent" harmonizer to create correct harmonies for Major, Minor, etc. chord voicings for vocal harmonies. I already have that aux send working, it's just the VL3 part (correct key & harmony per preset) I need to get going. 2) I have a MIDI foot pedal, the Voodoo Labs Ground Control (GC) original unit, which I currently use to control MUTE/UNMUTE of a few of the input channels on my digital mixer. That is working. I'd like to also be able to control the VL3 so that I can use the GC to switch PRESETS on the VL3. Mostly that's just to keep the tap-dancing to a minimum... as you'll observe next. 3) I have a set of MIDI "Bass Pedals" (BP), the Fatar StudioLogic MP113. I'd like to be able to trigger sounds (loops) stored in the VL3 with the BP. Hopefully, I could store sound effects (applause, cannon blast, rooster crowing, etc.) and record vocals/bass line/keyboard chords into the VL3, and play them back via the BP. I already have the BP connected to my Yamaha keyboard, and by default the BP trigger the sounds on the Yamaha that are on the key range C2 to C3, although that's changeable in programming, as is the MIDI channel and Control Changes the pedals trigger. I could spend hundreds of hours figuring out the VL3 (I've already barely scratched the surface after 20 hours), or I could hire you to teach me what you know about setting up/programming/using the functions much more quickly. I would prefer the latter. I'm an electrician and low-voltage home automation/electronics installer... so if you'd like to trade some time-for-work, that'd be great too. We sell & install TV's, surround sound, camera systems and doorbells, Wi-Fi products, electrical, etc., so if you need something we could make a deal for that. I'm just really busy at work, so a faster way would help. That's the bulk of the task. Even if you're just familiar with the VL3 or 3Extreme, and would like to help me with just that, I'd appreciate it. Please let me know. Thank you kindly. Carl Stockmal
