*SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY* Hard rock/heavy metal guitarist with a funky vibe looking for an original project. I'm looking for serious members who are driven to become professional musicians at some point in their lives. I'm a second year business student at Sac State and 20 years old, so people around my age is preferred. The best way to describe my playing is hard rock riffs, blended with syncopation, feedback and effect manipulation, and "fast" soloing (I don't consider myself a virtuoso by any means, but former bandmates have called it a virtuoso approach). I have pro gear ready to go and reliable transportation. My influences range from EVH, Randy Rhoads, Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, and Tom Morello to Al di Meola, Stanley Jordan, Greg Howe, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Robert Johnson. I know more music theory than most people (keys and their characteristics, time signatures, pitch axis theory, etc.) and I write music and lyrics (I have a whole album written and in the process of writing a second one). I previously played in a Sacramento based hard rock band called Grave Mistake (formerly known as Abeyance). If you're interested and/or know somebody that would be, then let's make it happen!
