Description
Rehoming untamed peach faced lutino lovebird. Male based on behavior, but not DNA sexed. No eggs evident in ~2 years of owning, but also haven't provided a nesting box or encouraged laying.
Friend of a friend passed away, someone else took their 2 lovebirds and 1 died from stress. Remaining bird wasn't doing well, so I took it in and introduced it to my 2 male green cheek conures. He recovered, put on healthy weight, and the birds all got along okay, but the lovebird wants more affection than the GCCs want to give. Lots of patience and many months of trying, but I think it's time to let him find a lovebird friend who's a better match.
Adoption fee of $100 applies. Lovebird comes with cage, toys, seed, tent, and favorite shredding paper. I will recommend the cat water fountain from Amazon that he likes to bathe in.
Let me know your situation. Why would a single lovebird work for you? What's your routine line (bird wake/feed/outside cage/sleep times, roughly).
I care about this bird and want him to go to a good home, not just any home. Thank you for considering adding him to your flock.
