Title sounds bad but I couldn't figure out how to say it better. I am going through a divorce and Ive had a dog for the last several years and its crazy hard to suddenly not have a furry companion. But Its a period of transition so I would never take an animal from a good situation and put them at risk. However if there is a situation where the animal would be in a better place being with me I would do it in a heartbeat. I will be on alimony for awhile. So basically if you are willing to pay the pet deposit (ends up like 500$) DIRECTLY to the apartment NOT me I want to adopt. Dog, Cat, furry creature of all kinds (Ive had rats my sister has a bunny) is wonderful. Yes it would be a bit before I could comfortably provide emergency vet care but if the animal is in a situation that is super bad it would be an improvement to be loved and cared for at least? And of course I will get animal insurance the second I can and so forth. Just putting this out here. Never know maybe a situation that matches will happen. I value not being destructive and being interactive/friendly. I couldn't care less about breed etc. I tend to get along with male animals as I am a female but my current dog is female so totally not a deal breaker. Anyway if this sounds like something for you I d like to open a dialogue.
