Description
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Caltrans and several North Bay transit agencies are seeking the public's input on the future of Highway 37.
The Sonoma County Transportation Authority is leading the Resilient SR-37 effort to reimagine the critical North Bay roadway.
The agencies have issued a survey and will jointly hold two virtual Town Halls later in the coming months in their efforts to understand the public's concerns.
Concerns about traffic congestions and environmental protections and the demand to accommodate bicycle and pedestrian traffic are among the issues that will be discussed.
Senators Mike McGuire and Bill Dodd will host the first Town Hall April 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.A Corridor-wide Planning and Environmental Linkages Public Meeting will be held May 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
