Job description Hiring an Experienced Lead Handyman to run a small team for high end residential homes. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) where your professionalism is just as important as your skilled handyman work. Successful candidate is a self-starter with an excellent work ethic, organized and always looking to go the extra distance to please our client. Position requires a fitness to be able to stand and kneel for extended periods of time, must be able to lift 55lbs by yourself. Candidate must be graceful under pressure, always displaying a cool head in difficult, uncomfortable situations. Sense of humor welcomed; this is not a position for a high-stress individual. Most of our clients are on the westside of Los Angeles (Malibu, Calabasas, Beverly Hills, Bel Aire, Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan Beach) so either living on this side of LA or having reliable transportation for commuting is required. We provide the jobs, work van and tools. Ideal Candidate: · Personable, Professional, Presentable · Experienced “Jack or Jill of all trades” · Candidate must have a CDL with no DUI’s and no more than 2 pts. on their DMV record. · Must be bondable and insurable, with no felony convictions. · Strong Computer knowledge, Google Drive, Email, Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint · Drug-free work environment, random drug tests are required for this position. Requirements: · Current & valid CA driver’s license · Clean driving record · Able to pass a background check · Responsible & dependable · Primarily work weekends · Punctuality is a must Experience: · 5+ years of various handyman skilled work · Knowledge of CODE · Plumbing · Electrical · Patchwork · Painting · Drywall repair · Air filter replacement · Pressure Washing · Tile Work · Door locksets · Cabinet face and hinge adjustments · Window screen manufacture and re-screening · Tub and shower caulking · Knowledge of under sink drainpipes and garbage disposal services · Installation & mounting · General household maintenance items · Property Maintenance · Ladder proficient · Eye for Safety Bonus: · Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus · Experience driving a Transit Van or similar delivery vehicle · Construction experience · Customer service experience · Full-time hours expected start date: 2021-04-15 Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
