Performance Team LLC a Maersk company is looking for warehouse Team Leads with prior Logistics experience to oversee associates, assign and assist with workloads and the ability to resolve common 3pl issues. This is an alternative work schedule, we work 4days -10hours with 3 days off! We are currently looking to fill our Wednesday to Saturday schedule. 6pm to 4:30am. We are paying 18 an hour and it is temp-to-hire position. The below skills are strongly desired for this position. • A forklift certification. Sit-down Clamps 2 years experience or more. • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds for the duration of the 10hour shift. • Strong Microsoft Office skills. • Prior overnight schedule work experience. • A strong understanding of container management systems. • An understanding of inventory accuracy system limits. Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Lead will include: • Training associates on warehouse systems. • Applying shipping and receiving labels, manifests and packing lists to shipments, as needed. • Verifying shipping/receiving documents, labels, PO/SKU/item as well as container/trailer and dock doors prior to assigning workloads. • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with Customer Service staff to ensure all client requirements are being met. • Overseeing and assisting with the unloading and loading deliveries of cargo, empty pallets or supplies. • Monitoring supplies and ordering same, as needed. • Addressing and reporting any safety violations.
