Say hello to your dream dog. If Billy were human, he would stop to change your flat tire on the side of the road, have your daughter home by 8p, & you would definitely introduce him to mom. We have no idea what breed Billy may be, but he’s possibly Australian Cattle Dog mixed with maybe Labrador. Billy is a nicely-sized guy at about 62lbs, & he is still a youngster at just about 1 year old. Billy currently lives in a foster home where he is learning all of the things. He is house-trained, crate-trained, & already know how to SIT, lay DOWN, & shake on command. He is pretty good at coming when called, he is learning to walk on a leash like a gentleman, he stands patiently for bath time, & he takes treats very gently. Billy is one super smart, young boy who is ready to learn whatever his new owner wants to teach him. So far, Billy has loved everyone he has met. He currently lives with other dogs of all sizes & has done well. He currently goes to Camp Bow Wow (dog daycare) a few days a week so he can run & play with other friendly dogs. We think Billy would do fine in a home as an only pet but would also do well in a home with another fun-loving dog who is as much of a clown as he is. Billy has also seen chickens & cats in his foster home while supervised, & didn’t pay them any attention. While Billy doesn’t currently live with kids, he would probably do fine in a home with older kids who were interested in teaching him new things. His #1 goal in life seems to be to become best friends with everyone he meets. Overall, Billy is a medium energy canine whose photo probably belongs on the cover of an Orvis catalog. He prefers daily activity & would love to find a home to explore the world with. Billy wants to ride in the car, jump in lake (Billy LOVES water!), romp in the field, point out lightening bugs, & do it all right beside his beloved owner. Once he has had his daily dose of fun, Billy’s next favorite thing is cuddling up on the sofa (or dog bed) for a nice long nap. Sometimes you’ll even find him snoozing away on his back with his feet straight up in the air. Billy is available to adopt through Waco Pets Alive! His adoption fee is only $70.
